This year we will explore strategies for dealing with the spiritual dynamics of motion and the organizations in a community that shape the values of the culture.
This seminar takes place on April 27, 2019 in Innsbruck, Austria.

Motion figured largely in the sacrifices in the Mosaic Law. Sometimes the motion was the central part of the ceremony such as the wave offering. Things as diverse as the breast of a sacrificial lamb or gold were waved before the Lord.
Other times the motion was less central, such as where the blood of a sacrifice was sprinkled or poured.
Regardless, precise motion was dictated as part of worship.
We see the same in heaven where some heavenly beings simply use sound in worship and others are highly expressive in motion.
The world over, occult ceremonies have included a wide variety of motion for a simple bow to a complex geometric dance to ritualized sexual motion.
Innsbruck is a city of intense motion. Most of it is seen as being simply culturally generic motion – trains coming and going; students on bikes; runners prepping for the 5K or the 85K; skiers racing down the slopes.
And much may be innocent in motive, but all contributes to the spiritual climate of the city.
Other cities as well have motion as a core spiritual dynamic.
We will be exploring some theological concepts around spiritual motion, as well as developing strategies for sanctifying specific areas of motion (a disco) and broad genres of motion – mountain biking trails.
In addition, we will explore strategies for impacting the values-changing sectors of the culture. Each community has some voices that are heard and listened to. Here the hospital, the university and the tourist industry speak loudly and shape values.
The church, which is the catalytic institution in the city, is both silent and ignored.
What can a small group of people do to change the values-changers in the community?
These will be the challenging topics we will explore in this year’s seminar which will build on the work previously done in the city.
We strongly recommend that you listen to the album from last year’s seminar, since it lays an ideological foundation for this year’s building out.
The seminar on Saturday will be followed by small teams doing actual land work on Sunday. You must register for that separately if you wish to be involved.
